Every year, more than 100 million Americans are eligible to file their federal taxes completely free through the IRS's own program — guided software, no upsells, no surprise fees. The income limit this year is $89,000 adjusted gross income, one of the largest jumps in the program's history.

The catch? The companies who run TurboTax and H&R Block don't exactly advertise it. Tim Hugo, executive director of the Free File Alliance, confirmed that even small business owners, gig workers, and landlords with multiple properties can qualify — and most never find out.

Costco consistently ranks among the cheapest pharmacies in the country. A 30-capsule course of generic Amoxicillin runs $8.84 at Costco versus $14.59 at most chain pharmacies, according to GoodRx data. Maintenance meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, or diabetes are where the biggest gaps tend to show up.
